MARISY 95 was held from October 16 to 18, 1995, at the Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, under the High Patronage of His Majesty the King of Morocco, on "Space Remote Sensing for Environment and Development." In the spirit of the recommendations of Agenda 21 and following MARISY 92, the forum was devoted to Africa and the Middle East. Organised by a number of national, regional and international institutions, it enabled the strengthening of exchanges and transfer of knowledge between North-South and South-South countries.

Le forum MARISY 95 s'est tenu sous le Haut Patronage de Sa Majesté le Roi du Maroc, à l'Université Al Akhawayn d'Ifrane du 16 au 18 octobre 1995, sur le thème «la Télédétection Spatiale pour l'Environnement et le Développement». Dans l'esprit des recommandations de l'Agenda 21 et en continuité avec MARISY 92, ce forum dédié à l'Afrique et au Moyen-Orient, organisé par un grand nombre d'institutions nationales régionales et internationales, a permis de renforcer les échanges et les transferts de connaissances Nord-Sud et Sud-Sud.
